State Level Police recruitment board (SLPRB) of Assam has invited the recruitment of eligible candidates for 1081 posts. The post they are going to recruit through the recruitment drive is for Forester, stenographer, forest guard, surveyor, and others whose details have been given below along with the number of vacancies.

Assam Police Forest Guard Admit Card 2021
Assam Police recruitment 2020-21
A few days back the SLPRB has invited the recruitment notification for 1081 various posts, the application for the posts can be submitted online. The online application will be accepted by the department from 25th May 2020 and it will be available for all candidates till 25 June 2020.
It is to be noted by all the applicants that there will be no application fee for the recruitment.

Eligibility criteria for Assam police recruitment 2020
If you are interested in the recruitment then you must fulfill the eligibility criteria whose details are given below:
Nationality:
- The applicant applying for the post must be an Indian Citizen and a resident of Assam.
- And the applicant applying for the posts must be registered in any Employment Exchange of Assam.

- For forester-I and Stenographer Grade III:
Minimum age: 21 years
Maximum age: 38 years
The applicant wanted to apply for these two posts should be born between 1/1/1982 and 1/1/1999 (including both date)
- For forest guard, surveyor, Mahut, Carpenter, and Driver:
Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age: 38 years
Age will be calculated as of 1st January 2020 (candidate applying must be born between 1/1/1982 to 1/1/2002 including both dates)

- 5 years of relaxation for candidates belongs to SC.ST (H), & ST (P)

List of documents to upload in the Application form
Before online application applicants you need to keep documents in a scanned form whose list is given below:
- Passport size photograph (maximum size of the file should be 450KB)
- Signature (with black or dark blue pen) must be less than 100 kb
- Age proofs (admit of HSLC/ birth certificate)
- Education qualification certificate and mark sheet
- Caste certificate

Selection procedure for Assam Police recruitment 2020
The candidates applying for the post need to undergo two phases
- First phase test
- Second phase test
But for each post, the phase test will be different
Forester-I and Forest Guard
Before candidates appear in first phase test they should go through the Physical standard test in which the height, chest, and weight will be measured and inspected by the medical team for a preliminary checkup and those who clear this PST will appear in first phase test whose details is given below:
- First phase test:
Walk (male): 26 km
Walk (Female): 16 km
Duration: 4 hours
- Second phase test
This written test will be conducted for those who successfully qualify the first phase.
The duration of the examination will be of 3 hours
It contains a negative marking of ½ for every wrong attempt

Second phase test
A merit list of shortlisted in the first phase will be prepared and undergo a practical test.

First phase test
- In this, a written test will be conducted
- Duration of the test will be of 2 hours
- Total of 75 questions will be asked with one mark each
- Negative marking will be there of ½
Second phase test
- It will be a skill practice test in their respective field.
Note: those candidates who are going to appear for forester-I and forest guard posts need to come along with their self-attested Xerox copy of their qualifying documents in the first phase test.
