Saksham National Competition 2021/ Saksham Scholarship Scheme: PCRA (Petroleum Conservation Research Association) has released the notification for “National Competition” which they conduct every year across the nation. In this Saksham National Competition students of classes 7, 8, 9, & 10 can participate but their school must be of state or centrally recognized. Candidates who won the competition will win the cash prize as per the category of the event. The last date to register online for Saksham National Competition is 31st March 2021.

Instruction for Essay and Painting Competition
- In this National Competition, only such students can participate whose schools are recognized by the central or state board.
- Schools need to register at the official portal and can list their student’s names in it.
- and such registered students will participate at school level for round 1
- the essay competition would be in any of the languages;
- Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Maithili, Dogri, Nepali, Bodo, & Santhali
- Students of class 7th to 10th are eligible for this national competition.
- One student can participate in one language only but…
- he/she can participate in Essay and Painting.
- The word limit for an essay should not exceed 700.
- The topic for the Saksham National Competition Essay Is “One Step Towards Green & Clean Energy”
- The best two students shortlisted by the respective schools will be called for State-level Competition and it will be carried out in online mode only.
- The top 5 students from each state/UTs will be invited for Essay & painting at the national level competition and…
- among them, the top 20 students will get the lucrative cash prize from PCRA.
Guidelines for essay and Painting Competition
- The decision made by the Jury will be final
- Any kind of plagiarism will lead to the cancellation of entry.
- Children of PCRA employees are not eligible for such competition.
Instruction for School Quiz Competition
- Students whose schools are recognized by the central/State board are eligible for competition.
- This will be conducted via online mode only.
- Schools need to register themself first and then they can register their student’s names in the portal.
- Students of class 7th to 10th are eligible for this quiz competition.
- the best students will be selected from the schools and such a process will be done by software.
- The team selected will then participate in a state-level round and for that, they need to login to the portal first.

The main motto of PCRA to conducted this Saksham National Competition 2021 is to increase the awareness among the next generation kids about the conservation of petroleum products & how they can save the environment.
